It’s never too late to find the missing puzzle piece. That thing that defines you. Sometimes it’s momentous, and sometimes you turn around and realize it’s been there, waiting quietly for you to notice. For me it was a pandemic and an afternoon with my daughter and a child’s paint set. So I guess I needed a bit of both for it to become clear. In the same way, I paint the small details of something grander, to express the beauty I find in the little things. Creating art is how I interpret my experiences, and it brings me joy to memorialize the things I have seen and done on canvas. As an artist, I hope I can share that joy with others.
